7th CLASS OF HAZARD
RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS

Transportation of such dangerous cargo is not something out of the ordinary for our company. We have accumulated extensive experience in transporting radioactive materials, such as Cesium 137, for the needs of geological exploration and oil and gas production companies. This cargo, like most dangerous goods, is transported exclusively accompanied by a paramilitary convoy. You can safely entrust us with the transportation of any dangerous cargo. Transport of the 3rd class of hazard substances, includes the transit of the following materials (page 169 of ADR)

The range of delivered radioactive substances is extremely wide-from medicines to radioactive waste. The transport of radioactive materials requires the strictest security controls to avoid threats to the environment and people. In addition to the ADR regulations, the IAEA has developed several regulations related to radiation safety.

Radioactive substance - any substance that includes radioactive nuclides, the nuclei of which are unstable, and their radiation decay exceeds the established values. (page 238 of ADR). Radioactive material belongs to UN numbers according to the degree of activity of nuclides, the presence or absence of their fission properties, the type of packaging submitted for the transport of radioactive substances

RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS ARE NOT DIVIDED INTO SUBCLASSES.
