DIESEL FUEL
UN 1202

Diesel fuel is a liquid that is used as fuel in the internal combustion engine and is produced from gas-oil-kerosene fractions of direct rectification of oil. There is a distilled, low-viscosity diesel fuel used for high-speed engines, and a high-viscosity, residual fuel used for low-speed units installed on tractors, vessels, etc.
Depending on the solidification temperature and turbidity, diesel fuel is divided into winter and summer types.
SUMMER TYPE: The density is 86O kg/m3. Flash temperature: 62 °C. Solidification temperature: -5 °C.
WINTER TYPE: The density is 84O kg/m3. Flash temperature: 40 °C. Solidification temperature: -35 °C.
ARCTIC TYPE: Density 830 kg/m3. Flash temmperature: 35 °C. Solidification temperature: -55 °C.
According to ADR UN No. 1202 and refers to goods of the 3rd class of hazard.

The delivery of diesel fuel, as well as the transportation of light petroleum products, refers to the transit of dangerous goods and is regulated by the rules of transportation of exhaust gases. Any transportation of fuel can involve different types of vehicles and semi-trailers. If the product is transported in containers, euro cubes or barrels, then an tented or boarded transport is provided. In the case when it is necessary to transport significant amounts of diesel fuel, tanks are used. Transportation of fuel and lubricants involves special tanks, called fuel trucks, which often have several sections.
