ARGON UN 1006

Argon is the 3rd most common gas in the atmosphere of our planet. It has atomic number 18 and is designated as Ar. Argon gas is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. At t=-185.9 degrees ̊C, the argon gas is liquefied, and at t=-189.4 ̊C, it crystallizes. According to ADR, it belongs to the 2nd class of hazard.
Industrially, Ar is released when air is split into oxygen and nitrogen. Ar is used in metallurgy as a protective sphere for various types of metal welding, in the household sphere it is used to fill incandescent lamps or the space between double-glazed windows.

TRANSPORTATION OF
ARGON IN CYLINDERS

Argon gas (No. 00N 1006 ) is transported by our transport company in cylinders bearing the sign ARGON, and the transportation of liquefied argon is carried out using cryogenic tanks. Transportation by tanks or tank containers is carried out in compliance with temperature conditions due to the low temperature of the argon itself.
